WHAT MOVES THE NUMBER

What actually drives the price

Four things move local SEO pricing, and none of them is how good the agency’s dashboard looks.

How many locations you have. One location means one Google Business Profile, one citation set, one NAP record to keep consistent. Three locations means three of everything, plus the work of stopping them competing with each other. This is the biggest cost multiplier there is.

How competitive your city and service are. Ranking a plumber in a town of 20,000 is not the same job as ranking a personal injury lawyer in Los Angeles. In a competitive market you are up against established sites with years of links and hundreds of reviews. That takes more content, more links, and more months.

What shape your site is in. If your profile is unverified, your citations contradict each other and your site has no schema, the first two months go to fixing the foundation before anything can rank. A site that is already clean starts further along.

How much content you need. Service pages, city pages and blog posts all take time to research and write. One service in one city needs a handful of pages. A multi-location contractor needs dozens.

MARKET RATES

What the rest of the market charges

Local SEO pricing in 2026 runs from about 300 to 5,000 dollars a month. Here is roughly what each band buys.

300 to 500 dollars a month. Foundation work. Google Business Profile optimisation, citation building, on-page fixes, schema and reporting. Realistic for single-location businesses in normal markets, and where most small businesses should start.

500 to 1,500 dollars a month. Adds content production, link building and technical work. This is the band where you can expect to compete in a mid-sized city or across a handful of locations.

1,500 to 5,000 dollars a month. Multi-location, franchise, or genuinely competitive niches like legal, medical and restoration. At this level you are paying for a team and a content operation, not one person.

Under 200 dollars a month. Be careful. At that price nobody is doing manual work on your account. You are usually buying automated directory submissions and a report that looks busy.

WHAT TO AVOID

What you should not pay for

Setup fees on top of a monthly retainer. If you are paying every month, the setup is the first month’s work.

Long lock-in contracts. Six and twelve month terms exist to protect the agency, not you. Local SEO takes time, but if the work is good you will stay voluntarily.

Guaranteed number one rankings. Nobody controls Google’s results. Anyone promising a position is either lying or planning to rank you for a phrase nobody searches.

Reports you cannot act on. A monthly PDF of traffic graphs is not a deliverable. You should be able to read a report and know what changed and what happens next.

An account manager between you and the work. In most agencies the person you talk to is not the person doing the work. You are paying for a layer of communication rather than the work itself.

If you are a single-location business in a normal market, somewhere between 300 and 500 dollars a month is fair, and you should expect movement in the map pack within two to three months. Multiple locations or a competitive niche means budgeting more and expecting a longer runway. Either way you should be able to see what you are buying before you get on a call, which is why the packages above are on this page.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT PRICING

Questions I get asked before people sign up

Is there a contract or lock-in period?

No contract. Monthly rolling agreements. Cancel with 30 days notice. You stay because the results are there, not because a 12 month contract says you have to.

How is this different from agencies that charge $2,000 or more per month?

Agencies charge for overheads: offices, account managers, sales teams, and project coordinators. I have none of those. You pay for the actual SEO work, done by one specialist who knows your account inside out.

Can I start with a one time audit instead of a monthly package?

Yes. The free audit is genuinely free and gives you a written findings report. If you want a deeper paid audit before committing to monthly work, that is available, ask via WhatsApp.

Do you work with businesses outside the USA?

Yes. I work with businesses in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, the UAE, and across Europe. Local SEO principles are universal, the specific tactics adapt to each market.

What if I need something not listed here?

Message me. Most requests outside the standard packages can be handled as custom project work. I would rather give an honest answer than force a fit that does not work.

The Cost of Local SEO Neglect study by BrightLocal found that most consumers check reviews and local search results before choosing a business, which is part of why an incomplete Google Business Profile costs more in lost calls than any monthly SEO package.

Not sure which package?
